Taken out of time and now being charged with transgressing the First Law of Time by his corrupted peers in the High Council, his own title of Lord President defunct and deposed, the Sixth Doctor must fight his own corner against his aggressive court prosecutor enemy, the Valyard (Michael Jayston), and watched like a hawk by the learned, overeeing female Inquisitor (Lynda Bellingham), during the ongoing drama that is The Trial of a Time Lord.
