Away from the underground horrors that were the frozen Cybermen tombs on Telos, the TARDIS has now materialised the Doctor, Jamie and Victoria onto an altogether different outdoor locale, soon identified by an enthused the Doctor as being Tibet and the Himalayas, as he recalls a special promise he must keep linked to a mystical object in his special care that must now be returned to the nearby Det-Sen Monks Monastery of peaceful monks. It is a visit that the Doctor insists must be done solo, having discovered unusual footprints, though it isn't long before his bored companions decide to explore their new locale...
