Having saved Sarah Jane's life in the nuclear power generating complex of Nunton, the Doctor must now confront the intriguing Kastrian alien that has reconfigured itself into female form - the seemingly vulnerable but prone to aggression Eldrad, marvellously played by Judith Paris, in a tense moment from the enjoyable Earthbound first half to The Hand of Fear.
