Still the greatest companion to our Time Lord hero in either iterations of the series (seen above in her memorably fiery first story alongside Jon Pertwee - The Time Warrior), and one of the most accomplished, popular and beloved actors to fans old and young worldwide, today is the day ten years ago that we sadly lost the lovely Elisabeth Sladen.
We miss her terribly, but her legacy and acting talent continue to shine brightly...
