Ready to deliberately endanger all human life on Earth with their genetically enhanced plague virus, the stranded Terileptil leader (Michael Melia, giving a commanding performance under the unique-for-its-time animatronic head) gives instruction to his beautifully ornate but deadly android (Peter Van Dissel) in the first proper classic adventure for Peter Davison's Fifth Doctor, as then series writing newcomer Eric Saward delivered the viewing goods with a strong ratings-winning adventure capably mixing history and science fiction adventure, and one that helped put WHO back on the eighties must-see-TV map: The Visitation.
