The Mara, born and sustained from the dark places of the inside, believes it has finally won its latest bid to reactivate its corporeal existence, this time on its home planet creation of Manussa. But its dark controlling force still fails to fully recognise the resistant strength of our Time Lord hero, during the memorable finale to Snakedance.
