One of the all-time great series promotional shots from the classic era, as the Third Doctor, at the near-end of his soon celebrated first season, towers above a collection of the series greatest monsters (bar the Daleks who were still in limbo for use until 1971): a sixties cobbled together Cyberman, a Yeti, a barely seen Ice Warrior, and from Pertwee's own era, one of the Martian Ambassador astronauts and a Silurian.
Another great image - presumably part of a Radio Times photo shoot - that also appeared as the cover to an early edition of Doctor Who Monthly - one that certainly grabbed my attention on the newsstand back in the day!
