TARDIS UNDER ATTACK!
Beyond reading his novelisations, and seeing near-mythic episodic pics in magazines of my youth, The Krotons, shown during the landmark BBC 2 repeats season 1981 The Five Faces of Doctor Who (thumbs up to JN-T on getting that landmark five-week run through, back in the day!), was my first proper experience of watching Patrick Troughton's Doctor Who, and I was quickly very impressed with him in the role. The story itself is basic but efficient from Robert Holmes, and not the clanger the Whovian critics might have you think. The scene above, where the TARDIS is attacked by one the crystalline Krotons, is certainly a memorable moment.
