SINGULAR 'RESISTANCE!'

The Mara, born and sustained from the dark places of the inside, believes it has finally won its latest bid to reactivate its corporeal existence, this time on its home planet creation of Manussa. But its dark controlling force still fails to fully recognise the resistant strength of our Time Lord hero, during the memorable finale to Snakedance.

READY TO LIGHT THE FUSE...

Always the patient scientist, always the thinker, always the clever manipulator, as well as being the insidious creator of the most evil lifeforms ever created, Davros awaits his destiny and that of his Daleks in this great B/W from the evergreen 'All Time Classic' that is Genesis of the Daleks. Michael Wisher remains the ultimate portrayal of the part, for me personally.

COLOUR COORDINATOR!

Think that the Sixth Doctor was the only one to wear a colourful outfit? Then check out Jon Pertwee's casual gear, as seen here during rehearsals during Season Nine's The Time Monster. Groovy, baby!

THE LIVING PULSE...

The collection of North Sea gas from the English Channel is not quite on the newly arrived Doctor and Victoria's minds as they examine an unusual, unnatural sound emanating from a local industrial pipe, in this memorable moment from creepy scareathon, Fury From the Deep. With the likelihood of any of its missing episodes returning looking pretty grim, this classic Patrick Troughton tale demanded animation life and is now receiving it, on sale from BBC STUDIOS in late 2020.

MAKING MYTHS!

It's a time of love, crisis, war and the death of a civilisation, as The Doctor, Steven and Vicki find themselves caught up in the tumultuous history-making end of the incredible city of Troy, in this great art celebrating Donald Cotton's two-parts comedy, two-parts tragedy tale that is The Myth Makers, an important adventure companions-wise, and very much a lost story, what with it being so poorly represented by way of existing visual materials.

Classic art that originally appeared in the superlative Doctor Who - The Complete History partwork series.

TOOTH AND CLAW!

A cunning intellect fused with the most brutal animal instincts have turned The Master into an even greater threat to the Seventh Doctor, of which the battle for Survival between them continues. Resident Renegade portrayer Anthony Ainley shined bright in acclaimed playwright Rona Munro's Classic Series finale.

COMPOST CORNER!

On the stricken Hyperion III intergalactic cruise liner, the unique Vervoid plant-life creatures are hard at work eliminating the human vermin and making a very ordered and special compost corner for themselves, in this deleted scene moment from the always enjoyable to watch The Trial of a Time Lord parts nine to twelve, also known as Terror of the Vervoids.
