JUST HANGING AROUND!

Deep in the bowels of the Rani's base on Lakertya, the bat-like Tetraps pause for rest whilst awaiting the next release of blood plasma to quench their first. Great monsters created for Sylvester McCoy's first adventure by Pip and Jane Baker, its a shame that the Tetraps didn't come back for further outings in the series, especially as those monster costumes created for the story must have been expensive to make.

Lovely cover art for the Target Books authors adapted novelisation of Time and the Rani. The image was ultimately from a model shot used in the programme, rather than a commissioned art piece, and looks striking to this day.
