The so-called 'bodysnatchers' Natasha and Grigory have discovered the truth behind the missing bodies of the Tranquil Repose funeral home, and the gruesome fates of those suspended animation figures once blessed with the best and brightest minds, in a chilling scene from Revelation of the Daleks. The idea of a glass Dalek had been conceived two decades before, in David Whitaker's excellent adaptation of Terry Nation's first Dalek tale, featuring William Hartnell's incarnation.
With horror and humour making for an irresistible mix, Eric Saward's All-Time Classic 1985 adventure for the Sixth Doctor's TV run has finally made its way to novelisation paperback as part of the BBC BOOKS Target books imprint, part of seven exciting new adaptations (across multiple Doctors), available from March 11th, 2021.
